When the Quinta is open there is a visit to Santa Clara, (15 minutes), every day for essentials and post, a visit to Odemira, (45 minutes), once or twice a week for most basics, (including good fruit and veg should this be needed), and to the Cash and Carries in the Algarve, (65 minutes), once a month for dried or tinned goods etc.

These outings are normally doubled-up with guests’ needs, airport transfers or bureaucratic necessities so as to reduce costs.

The total absence of any congestion within 45 minutes drive from the Quinta make these outings painless.

Most wine is delivered by Garrafeira Nacional, (ordered off the web), and beer and other soft drinks by Miracer based in Odemira, (ordered by phone).
